I can’t believe we are almost at the end of 2017!
I have had such a wonderful year including my first fully planned trip for me and my boyfriend. I will be finishing university next year and trust me, I will have plenty more holidays and weekends away planned.
Let’s have a look back at this year and where I have been.

Berlin: 08 – 11th January 2017
What a great way to start 2017. Phil and I’s very first holiday together all planned by yours truly. It was amazing, very cold, but amazing. I loved Berlin and everyone was so lovely that I could have stayed so much longer.
We will no doubt be going back at some point but 2018 I want to explore some new cities give me your recommendations in the comments!

Scotland: April 2017
As part of my incredible placement year with Great Rail Journeys I got to plan a trip all around Scotland from Glasgow – Isle of Mull – Glencoe – Fort William – Mallaig – Isle of Skye – Inverness – Pitlochry – Edinburgh. It was such a successful road trip and I was really proud of myself.
It was my first experience in Scotland and even just thinking of it now I know in 2018 I will be going back…it’s just I need to choose where to go!

Venice: June 19 – 24th 2017
Ahh one of my highlights of the year! Phil and I had been wanting to go to Venice for a good couple of years and we finally went this year thanks to his Nanna. She left Phil some money and as his Nanna always said we should go to Venice we did. It is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been and despite my many bites I could not have been happier with our holiday.
I am going to do a post giving you some handy tips and information so let me know what you want to find out about Venice and keep your eyes peeled for that.

London March & July 2017:
I have had two amazing very different weekends in London this year. Firstly in March visiting my university girls on placement. I went on my very first night out, went to a comedy gig and rode around on bikes. I haven’t yet done my post for a girly weekend in London but I definitely will.
Then in July to celebrate my boyfriends graduation and 21st birthday we went to Harry Potter Studios and spent the weekend in Brixton. We had such a good weekend staying in an Air BnB and visiting Pop Brixton that I could do it all over again.

I am really proud of 2017 as it helped me gain my confidence in booking trips that will be a success. I still need to tackle my pre-trip anxiety but that’ll come in time.
I want a trip ready for when I graduate with my lovely flatmate and several trips with the boyfriend of course.
I hope you all have an amazing new years and look forward to many relaxing breaks in 2018.
Thank you so much for reading and supporting my blog this year.
I can’t wait for even more success next year.
